This one to be exact:
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/143895...roduct_reviews

It's review:
http://www.trustedreviews.com/notebo...-Eee-PC-900/p1

Wanted one for ages as a super portable to take around with me and when they brought the new ones out with the 20GB SSDs and 9" screens I just couldn't resist it.

Anyone else have one of the newer ones like this? I know the batteries aren't that great but I can sort that or hopefully Asus are going to upgrade if for free

Can't wait for it to arrive on Tuesday

Cool, my maths teacher at college is trying to get the college to buy our class one each with a touch pad screen thing to make it a tablet. So, let us all know what it's like when you get it, I want to know if it's worth it.

Well, I have it sitting here on my lap, and my first impressions are I love it

As promised by Ebuyer, it arrived this morning but I have only just had time to open it up.

I am typing on it right now and am just getting used to the keyboard. I cannot believe how small it actually is but I am having no trouble typing with all fingers.

It really is tiny, about half the size of a normal A4 piece of paper. I am glad I went with the bigger screen 900 model because I think I would have found the smaller screen too small.

From the quick look I have had around the Xandros based OS it seems very nice and quick. It booted in about 10 seconds from cold.
I think I may put the version of Ubuntu for EEEs on it though.

I had it connected to my Access Point in seconds, and it seems to have good signal, better than my other laptop in the same place.

I will write a longer review on it later when I have used it a bit more. But if anyone is considering or thinking about buying one, I say buy it. You won't be dissapointed!

hmm, I'm glad you like it, and have you thought about making it into a tablet? or are tablet PC's not your thing?

You mean with a touchscreen?

I may do. Not sure whether I am going to spend the whole time modding it or just use it and enjoy it

It would be nice with a touchscreen but the trackpad is very easy to use with the new zoom and scroll functions.

Yea, that's what I was meaning, it's not actually that hard apparently (takes about an hour I think) but you need to know how to solder etc.

I am really envious serverguy! I love ultraportables but that is the best I have ever seen. M$ is already worried about it, it is reducing the cost of XP (sic.) to go on it, to try to kill it off.
