I will be using it mainly for internet browsing, downloading watching movies, workig and things like that, all at the same time probaly. So id like the biggest best screen possible, thats preferbaly very fast and lots of storage, not needed for gaming, but it needs to look great for movies. Looking to spend up to a £1000. And what are dells like as i dont have to pay vat to them ! Many thanks, Ian.x My System: The Blaster

| Up to £1000. Wow you must be rich!!!! Dell's are brilliant! I'd highly recommend them. The XPS models especially. They have high memory which would meet your downloading movies needs. Fast and powerful too. Look into them. You could get them from £650 which is good, considering you want to spend up to £1000. Also look at Sony Vaio's, Samsung and Toshiba. |

| If you are looking for a big screen one, why not get a desktop? There are lots of HP computers that offer great quality for watching videos. Dell would probably be the best choice for the price though. |

| It's called a User Requirement? Perhaps portability is an issue? Perhaps space is an issue? Perhaps prestige and fashion come into the decision? It's what he wants, basically. Saying "oh you don't want that" is a bit patronising. |

| Yeah, I was gonna reccommend Dell XPS definatly, they're not the ultimate, but you'll get way more for your money than you would anywhere else. You could also have a look at the Studio range, not sure but you might find something even better value for money suiting your requirements within that range compared to the XPS. This would be my choice: http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/pr...hs1&l=en&s=dhs The one one in from the left. 16" screen, High Definition, Blu-Ray Drive, 1 Year Warranty, 320GB Storage Space, 3GB RAM etc etc..
