 3 Network USB Modem - "fail to create ras entry" Error

I have a 3 usb modem and when trying to connect to the net it coes up modem working normally and then says "fail to create ras entry".I also get no signal where I am living only if i am upstairs.I have tryed everything and even ringing three but they ...

I have a 3 usb modem and when trying to connect to the net it coes up modem working normally and then says "fail to create ras entry".I also get no signal where I am living only if i am upstairs.I have tryed everything and even ringing three but they are no help at all.Please someone give me the answer.It is very frustrating!Also I am no computer geek so please don't get too technical! lol
