| Hi, thanks to all who read and try to help. Please excuse the long post but I am an absolute beginner! My desktop PC was running fine on ntl (virgin media) then the tower stopped working. I have been given another by a friend but it was originally running on AOL. Can anyone please tell me how to get this to ntl? I am having to access the internet through internet explorer but nothing seems to work right. I click on desktop icons and they go to AOL which of course will not connect. Threre must be a simple answer....mustnt there? Thanks again and please remember I need help without too many technical words, there are still some of us oldies who are new to all this...but am loving it!! Wendy |

| I'm not fully conversant these days with AOL, but unless it's changed, you will need to uninstall the AOL software, as this is bad news.
