| I have an Acer Aspire One running XP with the standard Atheros AR5007EG wireless card and Realtek RTL8102 fam PCI LAN card. I use the Wirelsss to connect to the internet but as soon as I connect the LAN the internet connection is lost. The wireless connection remains connect as does the ADSL modem. Unplug the LAN line and instantly the internet connection is back on! I have updated both card drivers and turned off powersave modes on both cards. I have even used an external USB wireless connection and it does the same! I cannot see how the LAN can influence the Wireless card? ANy suggestions to fix this? |
