Default ADSL ROUTERS

I have two telephone lines in my house one upstairs and one downstairs i have my pc connected to my adsl router downstairs but i have just bought an xbox 360 and wanted to know if i could buy another modem and put it upstairs for my 360?

Default ADSL ROUTERS

Are the lines seperate or is the upstairs line an extension, if it is a seperate line then you will need to take out a second subscription to activate the adsl on the line, if it is an extension you can get a second modem and connect to it but you will only be able to use 1 at a time, you can't have your pc connected to the internet and your xbox at the same time as 1 will just get a line busy error, if you wanted both connected at the same time you could invest in a wireless router and connect your xbox wirelessly.
