Default adsl to wireless wrong type of connector

Hi have bought a Belkin wireless router but the connection from my adsl modem is mini usb .this will not connect to the ethernt on the router.Any advice please of ways to connect adsl to router.

Default adsl to wireless wrong type of connector

A ADSL router should have an ADSL modem built in so you do not use you current USB modem.

If your router does not have a socket to plug your phone line into you probably have a cable router and this is wrong for your setup.

Thanks for the reply.I live in lanzarote but my adsl modem only connects to my pc via a short cable small usb connection on modem end with a normal usb on the pc end.The wireless router only has provision for ethernet connection.Can I get a cable to suit or can I get adapters that will work.

As I said you need a ADSL router, adaptors do not exist.

So do I connect the adsl router to the adsl modem and then to the wireless router.Sorry to be slow on this but am new to this type of problem.
