Hi,

Router is used for wireless to laptop and wired connection for XBox 360 & the desktop. When we first got it it worked fine but it would disconnect around every 30 minutes so we got in touch with the online support and they suggested we hard reset the router. We did the reset, set up the connection again and now we're unable to find the wireless connection. Tried many times to manually add a wireless connection to the laptop but 'Connect to' only brings up the wireless connection nextdoor and it won't connect automatically when the laptop starts up/

Help appreciated.

If your PC isn't picking up the signal the router is going to be the problem.

Is it out of range? Log into it and make sure all the settings are correct.

These things are best setup with both items being in the same room.

As far as we know, all the settings are fine. Desktop and laptop were in the same room at the same time, neither of them are showing the wireless connection as being there. Were told to try different channels, got up to channel 7 and no luck.

If 2 PCs will not pick up the router signal the router is either faulty or has the wrong settings.

Check to make sure your SSID is being broadcast, in the Router config settings.
