| Are you after a Wireless Router or a Wireless Modem/Router ?

| No .... a Modem/Router will be no good to you as you have a Cable connection.

As you have 2 x seperate 20mb connections on Cable, you obviously have 2 x Cable Modems, therefore you will need a Router or Wireless Router connected to each Modem. You can then set up your PCs, Consoles & Laptops, to access one or other, to spread the load and utilise all your bandwidth. You may as well get Wireless Routers as the price between the two is negligible. I have a Virgin 20mb Cable connection and I use a Linksys WRT54G, which has served me well for several years, I have also installed several of these on Cable connections, for friends etc., without any issues. | Netgear are ok, but with this model, you are paying more for the extra speed (108Mbps).

If your Laptop NIC Cards are not 108Mbp, you will still only achieve 54Mbps. Also it depends whether you need the extra speed on the Wireless side. My System: Home Build

| If you do go the Netgear route (excuse the pun), the link you listed seems a bit expensive

| Funnily enough, I installed an ADSL one (NETGEAR DG834G) last night for a colleaugue and it certainly seemed well built and quite a smart looking unit. I t was simple to install and was up and running in 5 mins.
