Our company is going virtual. We have 30 employees which 8 are working from home. We are a call center and eventually all 30 employees will work from home and we plan to grow. Everything is all setup including virtual call center solution. My main concern as a network administrator is data. I want to have all data centralized in the main office where I will be managing and maintaining the network, data, backups...Should a dedicated VPN like the Cisco 1841 Router be the right choice or should I go with Hyperoffice. I personally will rather go with the router. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I would go with the router in that situation with only 8 users.

Hi,

Have you considered using Sharepoint or Terminal Services?

Under 2008 you can publish TS Apps so the user is working from their own desktop.

Cheers
