My laptop comes with built in bluetooth. It's an ASUS M51A and I haven't attempted to use it before, but now I do want to use it well it doesn't work.

I've attempted installing drivers and halfway through the installation it always sayd "plug in bluetooth device" and I hae no idea what it's talking about.

I've looked on some ASUS forums and apparently you have to install the ASUS Wireless Console, so I do, but that didn't help matters. Didn't help anything.

Anyone got a clue on bluetooth drivers or anything of that nature?

Right click on Computer, select Manage, then Device Manager.

Right click the bluetooth device and uninstall it.

Then right click and let Windoze find new hardware.

I have seen this happen with several bits of conflicting software.

I've looked thoroughly in Device Manager and it's not there.

Any ideas?

Then that is a problem. Have you right clicked and got Windoze to search for changes?

This might be a bit of a dumb question, but are you sure the laptop has bluetooth?

I have a laptop thats got a button on the front, that lights up, and is labelled bluetooth, and there are bluetooth drivers on the site of the laptop, but when I opened it, there wasn't actually a bluetooth module inside....

Took me ages to figure out why it couldn't find it! :-P
