Hey,

I recently reformatted my mums pc and installed SetPoint and drivers for the Dell bluetooth keyboard and mouse.

Paired up fine, reboot and I get "Keyboard Failure", so I stick in one of my USB keyboards and it gets through fine, take it out soon as the screens past, and when it boots into Windows I can enter the password with the bluetooth keyboard..

I know what you're thinking - BIOS can't handle it, but the windows bootstrapper can. Surely my other USB keyboard (still wireless by the by) wouldn't work if this was the case?

I have tried using a random pass key and the 0000 as said in documentation.

I'm at a loss guys.. help me out here

For anyone else with this problem, I thought I'd let you know that I fixed it.

Accidently.

Vista Service Pack 1.

During installation it rebooted, so I thought ah bugger, and went to fetch a USB keyboard, but when I got back it was loaded into windows.

I have now been continually rebooting, just for the pleasure of seeing it load without me crawling around with a USB stick.

(I joke, I joke.. I'm not quite that sad.. I only rebooted twice..)

You need setpoint for dell bits and bobs too??

Bloody program is awful, wish I didn't have to use it tbh.. I'll continue avoiding Dell but using this S510 (Yeah, it's a stunning looking keyboard.. /sarcasm)

Glad you got your problem sorted, even if it was an accident, it's part of learning!

I have "fallen in love" (lol) with SP1 since building my PC and reformatting all of the houses computers.

It seems to sort out a million and one problems. (Although oddly I never had them before SP1 was released..)
