I have searched loads of sites, and have never found a solution to this problem.
I have a desktop, which is connected to a bt voyager 2110. It is a bt line and the ISP is plusnet. The connection to the internet keeps cutting out, ie the internet light on the router goes out. The DSL light remains solid throughout. Quite often out of nowhere, the computer will try to reconnect to the internet, trying to connect through the “wan”, or something along those lines, and it is never successful. In the end, I have to go to 192.168.1.1, type in my details, then it reconnects again. It then usually disconnects about half an hour later. I have tried running numerous anti virus checks etc, but nothing works. Does anyone have any ideas? Would be very grateful for any theedback. Thanks Rob |
