Actually its a homework assignment and i have to obtain a list of stuff need to build a home computer network as shows:
Make a list of items you need to purchase for building a home computer network what you already have: - one desktop computer - two notebook computers - high speed internet service provided by your cable tv company, one wired connection. What you want to achieve: - all 3 computers may have internet access simultaneously - notebook computers may have access anywhere in the house Please write down the list and info on where/how you obtain the list. Submit the result to the instructor |

2 notebooks will connect over wireless router providing they have wireless network cards. Desktop PC will use Ethernet cable unless you wish to install a wireless card, either PCI or USB) which would mean you do not need to locate the PC near the router or run a cable.
If you want bonus points get some prices for Maplin, uk.rs-online.com, etc |
