Alright well my dad got a computer from his work for free since they were shutting down and im trying to figure out why I cant get the internet to work. Been working on it for about 30 minutes now and have no idea. It says its connected and has a signal i run a wire to it from my linksys router. When i try to open the internet it just remains blank and doesnt say anything. I looked at the network connections and other things but i have little experience in that area so didnt touch alot of it. I thought maybe since he got it from his work they might of set up some blocks to not allow people to get onto the internet or w/e. I dont know much else to tell. So any suggestions will be greatly helpful and if you need and more info just tell me were to go and ill get it to you.
