Cant Get Online

i have another laptop its a sony vai with xp professional.
when i try to log on it says i have no drivers on my modem
how can i download them if i cant get online.
in the device manager the modem icon is yellow.
any ideas thanks...john

You will need to download the driver on another PC and put it ona USB memory stick, external HDD or burn it to a CD.

Then use this in the Sony Vaio.to install the driver.

thanks..as i am a beginner how do i get onto a memory stick rather than on the other pc...also where do i find the downloads.

You will fond Sony drivers on the Sony support website.
You will need the specifc driver for your Laptop model and Operating System.

When you download the driver you will have the option to navigate and to choose the USB Stick (if it is plugged in)
