New puter, dual boot , XP and vista 64. No problem getting connected in Vista but in XP I don't get a dial tone. I think I've figured it out but don't know how to fix.
In device mgr in XP when i click on ports it shows modem on com1. When I click modem it shows com 3. I don't know how to change
com port settings. HELP PLEASE Thanks.

You probably dont have the drivers installed, what kinda system you running?
