Computer not connecting via router though wireless is working !
Sometimes routers have a nasty habit of de-putting-in-all-of-your-information, (that well known verb) if you open your browser and type in your default gateway.*
From there you can view all your routers settings. (NOTE: you may have to sign in first, by default this is generally USRNM: admin PSWRD: admin) Have a look to see if there are fields to do with internet access and connection that are not filled in, if you have a made a backup copy of settings previously, or your router has for you, you can juts roll back to that.
You may also want to try manually reseeting it on the back of your router (IMPORTANT: Press only! Or hold for very short period of time to make sure. Most routers use 5 or 10 seconds as a COMPLETE reset, meaning it will delete ALL your settings, you may have inadvertently done this previously and this is why you cannot connect.)
*If you dont know this do as follows:
Start > Run > CMD > "ipconfig"
