Hi guys, i have to do a 1 page essay on the following-

A company plans to link all its 3 building offices together in the future, the furthest building is 400meters from the centre of the network, discuss issues involved in connecting 2 or more networks together, discuss the following things:

1. Packet Routing
2. Security implications
3. Compatibility

Can somebody please help me on this, ive tried to surf the net for it but cannot find anything your help would really be appreciated.

Get tanenbaums 'Computer Networks' from the library, its the bible for this sort of stuff.

I think you need to have a look at what a subnet is, connecting between sites using a wired and wireless solution. think about what sort of services they might share and the bandwidth & security requirements of them.
