Have you tried running Firefox in safe mode?

Start > Programs > Mozilla Firefox > Mozilla Firefox (safe mode)

If this is your next best idea then I think it would be best if I work out my problems myself.

While the initial post didn't have the greatest formatting (which I can't take all the blame for that), it still does state the following: When I ping....in Windows I generally fail two out of four times.

It would appear that that sentence in itself makes it pretty damn clear it's not a browser issue.

But I have no right to complain, this is a free service. Though sometimes free isn't all it's cracked up to be.

You seem to be above the help of anyone actually. You asked for some suggestions to investigate but everything is below your level of expertise.

You seem to have covered all of the traditional troubleshooting methods.
I have had add-ons cause connection problems. Safe mode would confirm or eliminate that scenario.

You can have an attitude with me, I do not much care. Just don't try it with any other members.
