Default Could my images problem be something to do with my LAN?

Basically on websites such as facebook, myspace and Imdb, half of the images do not show up.
I have a laptop and a standard computer that both use the same LAN network.
It is not a firewall problem because the laptop uses MacAfee and the other computer uses Norton.
It is the same on any internet browser as well.
It also can't be spyware or a virus because it is unlikely they would be on both machines.
I'm thinking it is a network problem but I don't know how or why, or how to fix this.
Here is an example of what I mean:

Whenever I post this on any forum, nobody repiles, I really hope someone can help me this time because I need this fixed.

Try doing some basic maintenance.

Defrag Auslogics Disk Defrag <----Faster than Windows built in Defrag
Run CCleaner
Make sure your Java is up to date. www.java.com Current version is 1.6.0.3 you can check the version in add/remove programs.

Thankyou for your quick replies but does this apply to both computers?

The fact that some pictures show is puzzling.

Doing the maintenance, clearing cookies, old files etc. will at least rule that out. And it shouldn't take long. The CCleaner is what I would try first.
