Heyy guys.

This is probably a really simple to fix, but i've not got a clue how to go about it..

So, I have my PC connected via USB wireless adapter to the net, and my laptop also connects to the internet via wireless, which according to device manager is connected to the USB bus, even though its inbuilt. Both work fine, and both have Realtek gigabit ethernet.

When i connect the to machines together, using a crossover or a normal ethernet, and set the IPs manually, (to a different set thats not used on the wireless) my PC still works on the internet fine, but the laptop refuses to access the internet until the ethernet is removed. However, i use Synergy to share my PCs mouse and keyboard onto the laptop, and this continues to work perfectly, despite using the wireless (setup through IPs, which are the wireless ones)

To finish my eassy i seem to have written here, how to i make the laptop connect to the net, when the ethernet is connected? The wireless on both machines are static IPs, with DNS's put in as well, the ethernet IP's are also static, but the DNS boxes are left blank.

Cheers, MCTW
