sorry if this isn't the right sections to do this in. but does anyone have that service at all? is is any good? what kind of download speed do you get? all that good stuff. i don't want to have to pay as much for something like comcast and we don't have roadrunner here in IL. I want to get AT&T Elite service because it sounds fast and has a god price. all I'm really asking here is to confirm if it is fast. and reliable. and reviews anyone would like to share?

No exp. with them, but check and see if you can get fiber optic (Verizon FIOS) in your area as well. Cheaper than Comcast and 2mbps download speeds.

Nah, it's like cable where they come out and hook it up. You have to have fiber in the ground first though, so not everyone can get the service.

cheesepuff, it looks like there's nobody who's tried AT&T Elite Internet here.

There's lots of reviews at http://www.dslreports.com/gbu/ though - they specialize in ranking customer satisfaction for internet services. It's what I look at when I'm wondering who's fastest and cheapest and whether they give value.
