| I have a question about DSL. I have heard from several people that have the same service I will be getting that they can somehow plug another computer directly into a phone jack and it connecting it to the DSL, without having to purchase a router and a wireless card. I've also had a few people tell me that this ISN'T possible. So what's the final verdict? |

| You can set up a computer as a router, but this is pretty much well in the power-user category and is generally useless to most when a wireless router is around $30.

Unless some ISP offers a clever service where they will give you two modems and let them both authenticate at the same time. Have you thought about Powerline networking or Wireless?

| You can only plug into the phone line once, per household. So one PC online is possible with a DSL modem, many with a router. Anyone telling you any different is full of it.
