Default File Sharing

Hi i'm wondering how to get my file sharing working over my network. i have a desktop wired into my router, running XP and a new laptop running vista, any idea on how to work that?...

Sorry about that, I guess I didn't word my thread very well, I meant file sharing between my own computers, not p2p or anything below board. If that wasn't the rule I was breaking, don't really see what else I could have broke, anyways to save some trouble, I'm wondering about setting up file sharing between my 2 computers, a desktop running xp and a laptop running vista

you could use x fire and send it to your computer. no other ideas though...

That is not what the OP is asking for. Totally different!

The windows File Sharing program is buggy at best. I am not sure it is better with Vista or not but XP is......buggy.

It is going to come down to
A. Patience
B. Google
C. A lot of reading
D. Patience mixed with Google and a lot of reading.
