Hi,
I finally managed to get Vista working on the wireless network, however file sharing on the XP box has gone to pieces. It doesn't see either oth the other 2 machines (1 vista, 1 XP Pro), however the others can access each other no problem. The settings for the wireless on the one that doesn't work report that TCP/IP is not installed, however trying to install gives a message: "Cannot install requested feature. The data is invalid" I've tried rebuilding the TCP/IP stack. TIA Michael |

Have you tried downloading all the latest updates for all the computers on the network?

Yup - short of XP SP3, which is *supposedly* arriving on CD from Microsoft, everything is up to date.

Well whatever I did, it seems to have sorted itself out.

![]() Sorry I couldn't be of more help, sometimes it is just a matter of fiddling around with it until it works though.

No, don't worry about it. Many times in my limited experience, I've come across the same situation - it really is just a case of fiddling :p
