| My internet connection speed is giving me real problems at the minute. When I switch my computer on it connects to my wireless network at 54.0Mbps but while I'm using it it constantly fluctuates between 1.0 and 54.0. I tried running it alongside another laptop connected to the same wireless network and the other computer stayed at 54.0 the whole time and well and trully out-performed mine. Any ideas anyone? |

| Hi, davidspeir, welcome to The Computer Forums and I hope you enjoy it here. It sounds tom e like the hardware you're using to connect to the network (your wireless card, or chipset if this is a laptop) is faulty. Either have it replaced (desktop) or get it fixed under warranty if you can (laptop). |
