You don't connect them directly together, you need a modem.
Connect the modem to the Digibox, then connect the modem to the Xbox 360. You should have a seperate long white wire coming from a box on the wall or digibox that will go into a modem.

wrong! you are talking about conecting my modem to my cable connection (which is allready done) then attaching it to my digibox with what exactly? if i attached my modem to my digibox it would be pointless as the modem works fine by its self and then what would connect to the 360?

what are you trying to do, get the internet through your virgin media box, instead of using your cable modem?

hummm, i dont think it is possible, but it could be for future expansion, just like sky + have usb ports, but first things first what type of ethernet cable are you using crossover maybe or a straight through one, when connecting a computer to a router you use a straight through cable, but when connecting two devices together i.e. two computers to each other using a single cable, without a router or switch in the middle you need to use crossover cable, it is still the same shape as a straight through cable, but the layout of the wire is different, usaully the only way you can tell the difference between the cables is the words printed on the wire.
unless you got the cash to go out and buy a crossover cable, i wouldnt bother and just stick with ya normal cable modem |

If you have the digital tv then yes you plug into the digibox to get broadband also.

When done on a PC you have to register the PC on screen in the browser before it will work. So, I'm not sure how you would do this on a xbox. My System: Hybr!d
