Call your cable company, I'm sure there is a way, they should be able to give you instructions if it is possible.

You could of said that you actually had your modem currently up and running, its hard to give an answer without knowing details.

I thought you were just trying to plug your xbox 360 into your television digibox, which would be kind of silly.
And excuse me if i am wrong again but networking is my Achilles heel, Just trying to give a little help.

One thought though ..... I seriously doubt whether you will be able to obtain an Internet connection through both you Modem and digibox, at the same time.

if im not mistken the digibox is for digital TV not internet so connecting to your modem wouldent do you any favors. Also if you want to share an internet conection between multiple devices you need a router on the reciving end of your modem.

yes thats what i dont understand, why do u not buy a wired or even wireless modem? plus most of the time your connection will come out of the wall together, it then splits for your media box and your modem, so they should be near enough to each other
