My wireless connection has been acting wacky lately...going from 54mpbs down to 5.5 or even 1, back up again, then cutting off completely for no apparent reason. Is this a router or ISP problem? The router has been reset a few times, I think (I'm not the one operating it).

What Broadband provider are you with? what wireless router etc. I used to be with sky broadband and i used to do exactly that. Now i've changed to Orange, i have had no problems since.

The only other advice i can give to make sure your router has as little interference as possible. i.e cordless phone's near by. And if there are many wireless routers in range.. try changing the band of your router and pc, this might help...
