| So... In my house there are 3 computers on our network: The Network: Router: Linksys Wireless G Router (has 4 ethernet ports) Model #: WRT54G2 computer #1 is hard wired to the router computer #2 is Gateway G6-400 running on win98se...connected to network via 802.11g wireless pci card computer #3 is Dell inspriron 530 running windows vista...has some sort of card with pluging box.....(dont have to worry about this computer anyway so it doesnt matter) My computers: 1. Dell Dimension 8250 Os: Windows XP Home Edition service pack 3 Printer: Dell A940 connected by USB This is hardwired by Ethernet to the Linksys Wireless G router 2. Gateway G6-400 (intell Pentium II processor....kinda old but works fine) Os: Windows 98 Second Edition Printer: HP Office Jet Series 500 connected by printer port to cpu This has a 802.11g wireless PCI card..... 3. Dell Inspiron 530 Os: Windows Vista Business service pack 1 Printer: Dell V305 Wireless PCI Card....has a box antenna with a cable plug in to the card.... All 3 computers have internet All 3 computers have file sharing I want to be able to chose any printer in the house to print to from any computer.....I've enabled sharing printers but i don't know how to get the printers listed on the other computers..... can anyone tell me what to do next? thanks in advance -kevin, 13 |
