Right! In my house I have two desktop pc's (one of which is not really used) and a laptop. All the computers are connected to the internet via ethernet cables though a router. My laptop has wireless on it, so I decided to purchase a wireless router which allowed cables to run off it also, so I can make use of the wireless function on my laptop. Unfortunately I ourchased the wrong wireless router, I got one for use with a BT line whereas, I have cable phone lines in my house and cable broadband which has its own seperate modem. Anyway Before i reaslised this i tried to instal the software on my laptop, realised it didnt work, and now I have no internet on my laptop, even if I plug it directly into the broadband modem with the ethernet cable. Now im aware I must have messed with something, and it has affected the network somehow. I'm just unsure how to fix the problem. The laptop internet connection keeps saying unsecure network, and will not allow any access to the internet. its driving me mad. I dont know if the IP's have been messed with or what. So I'm desperate for some solutions to try. I have tried a system restore on the desktop pc, no joy. And there is no previous system restore backup point on the laptop so I cant do that. My laptop OS is vista, and the other two pcs are XP. I must also add. that one of the desktop pcs works perfectly fine, and can access the internet when plugged into the modem. So i dont understand why the other two dont. PLease help!! Anything else you need to know please just ask.

Thanks

Beckz
