Default Help! Only 1 pc can access the net on my home n/w

On my home network is a PC and 3 wirelss laptops. Only one can access the net at any 1 time. Why is this and how can I resolve it? many thanks...
Configuration...
> Modem: Homechoice/Tiscali
> Router: BT/2Wire
> PC: DELL with windows XP
> laptops: 2 with XP and 1 with vista.
Background...
The whole network worked fine up to last week when our other PC (that was connected to the modem) died. I tried router connected to modem and/or to remaining PC. Doesn't help.
Our family is desparate - how can we face Xmas and not all be on the net?

Turning the router and modem off at the wall for 2-3 mins sorts 99% of Internet issues.

Assuming you haven't reset the boxes to factory defaults.
