| I tried to install a PEAK wireless LAN card into my PC. There is only one place it will fit, but when I slid it in the slot, the PC wouldn't start. I took the card out & the PC started!! When I put nit back in, it wont start again!! Any ideas as to why my computer won't start when I install the card? Sorry for being a helpless female!! Lynn |

| well it sounds like the wireless card is faulty and shorting out the board, i suggest taking it back to your retailer and getting a replacment.

And the slot you are putting it into is white and the right size? If yes and yes then as Spencer says perhaps the card is faulty. My System: Krlll
