Hi,

I have a wireless network at home built on linksys wrt54g, which may change in future. 4 users will be downloading files simultaneously from the storage device.
The problem is to choose right and FAST device. The disk will be SATA 1TB and I don't want to build RAID matrix.

What do u think aobut this device for 100$:

It can work in wireless or cable mode. Is it fast? I dont know...

Maybe u have better alternatives for similar price (not higher than 200$)?

It is not bad for $100 but the max speed you will get is 125mps and that will decrease if all client computers do not have a wireless g+ cards and the router is not wireless g+ and all clients are downloading at the same time as they are sharing bandwidth, if your after speed then you will need all wireless devices to be n series

a windows home server is probably one of your better options.
