| If the DSL router:1. is actually a router and not just a modem, and2. has 4 or more LAN portsthen3. You can simply plug connect any of the cat5 connections (or a network / Ethernet patch cable from the appropropriate port on the patch panel) to any one of the 4 LAN ports of the DSL router (or switch if step 5 applies below).4. If the DSL modem is just a modem and not a router, you'll need to connect a router to the modem and then see item 3 above.5. If the DSL modem is a router but only has 1 LAN port, then you'll need to connect an Ethernet switch to the LAN port with a network / Ethernet patch cable then see item 3 above. |
