Internet is always connected but disconnects

Hey guys, my internet suddenly keeps disconnecting every 2 minutes while my modem, Terayon shows the online indicator online, i use a Cable modem and my router is a D-Link EBR-2310, hope you guys can help my problem very much :(.

No, everything is wired.

If the equipment is staying on it could be your ISP so try calling them.

Alternatively do a virus and spyware scan.

I did, deleted viruses and spyware and restarted computer and it still doesnt' work.

Have you tried resetting the router and inputting the settings from scratch.

I have tried resetting the router a couple of times but does nothing and internet still disconnects and how do i input settings from scratch, sorry.

By anyways u are using a USB cable to connect to the net ? if that is the case use a lan cable that will be more stable .

What? Where do they say USB connection?

They said a router, and I'm yet to see one with USB ports lol.
