On the back of the router there will be a reset button.

Press and hold that in for a few seconds until the lights on the front flash.

You will then need to login to the box and setup the settings, like you did when you purchased it.

If you didn't enter any setup settings (for some users it works straight out of the box) when you bought it then just power it up and try it.

Lets see whats running that may be causing this.

If you don't already have HijackThis then please download and follow these instructions.
Download HijackThis Here
Once you have it downloaded install/save it to it's own folder!!! This is important for it to work properly.
For example save in C:\program files\hijackthis
Once installed open the program and select Do a system scan and save logfile.
**Important DO NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
Save the log as a .txt file.
In the next post click Go Advanced.
Scroll down and click Manage Attachments and add the log as an attachment. It will be too long for a single post so please don't copy/paste it directly in the post

Does your connection get disconnected every two minutes even when you are using it? Or while browsing? I had known many instances where the net automatically disconnects when we do not use it. That is when we keep it idle for two minutes. My dial-up connection which is wireless disconnects only when I do not use it just after switching it on. Otherwise even when I keep it idle it does not get disconnected.

Some internet service providers actually setup things to intentionally disconnect whenever the user keeps it idle. Check this once. If there are any settings for disconnecting in your system then it will help to change them.

Open HijackThis and select Do a system scan only.
Then check these entries.

Exit all windows including this one before clicking fix checked.
Then please run another scan and post new log.

Hmm, I was thinking maybe that was cutting you off, or maybe heating something up which resulted in losing connection (hardware is not my strong point) but looks like you have already thought of it.
