i have run speed tests for my connection and get right around 11000kbps but every time i try to watch a video on youtube or even the news barely 10% of the video loads also when try to download a file say from download(dot)com it gets about 10-25% complete then either freezes or say it can not be completed because the operation timed out. any ideas what might be the problem?

OK so i think it is my wireless router because i connected directly to my modem and it was fine. i just have a lowend belkin model. but i still dont understand why it would be timing out. any suggestions?
