I have a computer connected to my wireless router and there are times when the internet doesn't work or goes really slow. I have the netgear router in my basement and my laptop is only a floor above it. I brought my laptop to where my router was, but nothing happened. I also tried using a cable to connect directly to the router, but that didn't work either. My computer that is directly connected to the cable modem never has any connection issues. Could somebody help me out with this? Also I have connection issues with battle.net that I can't figure out. I opened all the ports they told me to and I still have trouble connecting.

Is this Vista? We are getting constant problems with Vista dropping the WiFi connection.
