Hi,
Recently, internet has been cutting in and out, which gets really annoying. Around 1 month ago, there was a driver update for my ethernet adapter, so I updated. After 1 or 2 days, it cut and never came back, but it was only my computer, so I thought I should rollback drivers, and it worked. Few days ago, it started again, so I tried updating drivers again, which worked for a day or two, now its cutting in and out again.

It cuts, then comes back after 1-2 minutes, which is really annoying. I only notice this a lot on the weekends, I don't think it has ever happened on a weekday, which makes it more strange. I play a lot of games on the weekend though, which is how it affects me. I've tried another cable, and another slot in the router, yet it still likes to cut.

Any ideas appreciated.

i recommend that u use driver scanner 2009 this is good for ethernet drivers,

try using a pci ethernet card to see if its your card, or your router/hub thts the problem.

Yea, I used driver scanner 2009 for the first update, the one before I rolled back. Well, I don't have an ethernet card, nor do any other computers in the house... Should I buy one?

you could do i guess, a cheapo one aint to much usually!
have you tried totally uninstalling the ethernet port in device manager, then rebooting so it finds the hardward, then the drivers again?

Well, after successful uninstall and reinstall, I guess it's time to wait and see...

Have you tried to reboot the router? You say there are other computers in the household? Do they have the same issue?

Just as bad. Tried restarting router before, but it didn't work. Other computers don't have the same problem, so it's a problem with my computer...
