I used to be able to use IRC from my computer all the time. Now, whenever I connect via 6667 directly to the Server, my whole router disconnects/refreshes my connection. In the logs, I see a "PPPoE disconnect" then it tries to re-connect. That makes me wonder if it could be my ISP stopping it. I'm not sure exactly what could be setting it off, but something tells me it is when a server tries to resolve my IP into a host name (I have a dynamic IP).

This problem occurs regardless of Wired or wireless connection, and for any server out there.

My Router is a Dlink DI-624.

This problem happens every time during a connection. I don't get passed Raw message 265 (Number of users on a network).

I'm thinking this Router just sucks, as I've seen many reviews online about how bad of a router this is.

I'm open to any other suggestions, as I'd like to spend as little money as possible ;)

Thanks!
