Hello All,

I have a computer that is part of a workgroup with 20 other computers. In this particular computer I have a backup software that backs up all 20 computer into an external drive connected to the computer with the backup software. I have had this setup for about two years now without any problems. Now I have the problem that the backups did not finish because the computer could not connect to any other computer over the LAN. I've change the NIC, the cables, changed ports in the switch. tested another switch, tested another router and still every time I boot the computer I have to manually go into My Network Places and manually enter the user name and password for each computer. Even leaving a check in the "remember password" and it stills disconnects. Sometimes before I restart the computer some connections have been lost. All computers are running windows XP Pro srv pack 3. nothing new has been done to any computer either.
