After upgrading to upto 8mb broadband I was cursed with loss of internet whenever the phone was used. I swapped the splitter 3 times but to no avail...finally my ISP sent out a BT engineer to check, after 20 minutes of line checks he was about to hand it over to his boss as he had run out of ideas when he thought he would try his own splitter...no drop at all!
So the 3 splitters I had (2 supplied by my ISP) were no good but his was!
I bought what he used (BT MF50) and that worked fine for a few months but now the problem has returned...I have even bought 3 more MF50's but no matter which one I use every time the phone is used I lose broadband and have to wait 5 minutes or more for my modem router to reconnect.
Can anyone help diagnose the problem or even just suggest a micro filter that will do what it is supposed to.
Thanks
