Default My Network Places in Windows Vista

I've just bought a new PC with Windows Vista Premium... There's some files on my laptop that I'd like to send over to it, but I can't view my laptop from my new PC! Where is it?? My lappy is definitely set up correctly, as my bf can see my shared folders, and I can see his on his PC. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thank you,Katie

It's under Network in the start menu.
