Ok maybe I should rephrase EVERYTHING lol.
I have: Orange Livebox (piece of **** really) Netgear USB WG11T or something (But I'm getting a D-Link PCI soon anyway) and an unbranded rubbishy PCMCIA in my mums laptop, all connected to the livebox. The X360 is through a 10/100/1000 on my Asus P5QL PRO. But it lags reallly bad, even with UPnP and DMZ enabled on it (Or even the specifin ports forwarded). Now I've just come round to thinking it's a hardware issue.. All my mates connecting to XLive through their PC have this issue, and those connecting wirelessly, do not.

im sure u already no what its called, its LAG
all networking equipment must respond all within in a certain time, latency i think it is..... by going through your pc, then through your orange livebox, the extra trip through your pc makes it a slightly longer route, and takes longer, if it where pc to pc, you wouldnt notice it when browsing net etc but when gaming when using a game like COD, on a ps3 it tends to come up with connection inturupted or you just lag loads, admittidly you would get it time to time if you went direct to the hub, but to try solving your problem, try connecting straight to the hub, to makesure this isnt an internet issue |

I used to have the overpriced M$ X360 wireless adapter, I had the same issue then.
My NAT type has never been better than Moderate for more than 5mins - and I think that was just a test that didn't quite go right. |
