Morning all,

I have a handy little add-on for my Thunderbird email (winXP) which checks back on the header info and flags invalid addresses.

Well, it would... but the router is refusing TCP access:-

Could not get SPF info: DNS server 192.168.0.1 refused a TCP connection.

That address being my router.

Could anybody tell me how to set this up please?

Find out which TCP port the add-on requires,

type 192.168.0.1 into your browser to enter the configuration page (password might be admin or something, google it or look in docs.)

Now enter those details to open the specific port it requires.

Alternatively you could see if you could find a setting for UPnP

And enable it, that just allows thunderbird to open the port for itself.
