I am having the same problems that jodi had. You said all it takes is a pencil nub reset. I am not sure I know what that is. Can you help? I looked for a reset button on the router and couldn't find it. Thanks so much. By the way, I called Netgear support and they wanted to charge me $65.00 for for this information. I really appreciate it. Thanks.

I actually screwed up. I am having the exact same problem, but I have the WGT624 v3 router. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hold the reset button down until all the lights are off then release it.

Thanks so much for getting back to me. Ok. So I just reset it, and now it's not sending out the signal. The light that shows that a signal is being sent out is no longer lit. Any idea on what I did wrong or or is there something missing that i need to do next? Thanks.

Go back into its options and reconfigure your settings - a reset clears everything so you'll have to do anything you did when you first got the router again.

Carbons right,
Treat the router as if you've just taken it out of the box brand new as you did when you first got it.
