x86 means it's a 32 bit.
x64 means it's a 64 bit.

There isn't an 86-bit!

Did you try installing new drivers, uninstalling/reinstalling current drivers, rollback drivers etc.....

hardware problem you guys think? i dont want to take the mobo back to be honest as ill have to ring microsoft again for another windows code, maybe they guy in the shop will give my a pci adaptor for free lol....not likely

Well lets see....you've checked the cable, you've uninstalled existing drivers, reinstalled new ones, disabled, enabled, rolled-back, and still notta? Your ports aren't recognizing the cable? The three "!" by each port tells you it's most likely the mobo, not the drivers or cable! Like I said earlier I am young and nieve and I'm not real experienced and I have no idea whats wrong. Saying the mobo is bad is a quick judgement call but I won't tell you thats it for sure.

Sorry!

dont say sorry seems we have both come to the same conclusion

did find this

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932520

seems it can be ignored, and i happily would if it didnt disrupt my connection lol

will ring microsoft tonight, see what happens, cheers mate!

i will try a reinstall of my OS, or a repair beforehand, then if no luck ill take a visit to the shop i got it from
