Default Network Cable Unplugged LAN ICON on Newly Reformatted Dell 2400 Dimension

Here's the latest. I was able to reload the floppy and load the file from Dell's site and it was to change the bios. That was not necessary. It was the same bios A05. So I left it alone.

All the drivers from the Dell site were extracted from the disc I burned. I still have the red x on my LAN icon. No green or orange lights are lit on my port. Is there a way to enable that port? I think you eluded to that in your last post. I don't know how to do that.

Here's the latest. I assumed the network driver is the Broadcom 4100 Integrated Driver? Is this what you spoke of in your last reply? It was already on my disc and it was extracted. As soon as I tried to overwite it the red x popped up again - it disappeared for a second and the icon came back with a red x over it in my systray.
